HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a tame first quarter with Hartwick scoring the only goal just over five minutes in.
- The offenses got cranked up in the second quarter with the Hawks adding two more goals before freshman Rob Nelson netted Oswego's first goal of the season.
- Hartwick answered inside of the next minute to go up 4-1 with 7:15 left in the half.
- Elston's first goal, a man-up tally, cut the lead back to 4-2 and the hosts scored a late goal for a 5-2 lead at the break.
- Like the second quarter, Hartwick scored a pair before junior Ryan Dumont scored on a feed from Gray to conclude the scoring in the frame.
- In the fourth quarter, Oswego got the opening scores from freshman Devon Gerhardt and Elston to close the contest to 7-5 with 7:20 left to play.
- The Hawks scored a pair with under three minutes to play and freshman Cameron Tallman added a goal with 30 seconds to play for the 9-6 finish.
- Oswego held an 11-7 advantage in faceoffs, led by freshman Logan Prescott's nine wins.
- Hartwick held a 35-27 edge in shots while the Lakers were up 19-16 in ground balls.
- Junior Aiden Kenyon made 15 saves in the contest for Oswego.

The Men's Lacrosse team will travel to Utica on Saturday at 1 p.m. to play SUNY Poly.
