GENESEO, N.Y. – The Lakers continue to improve as multiple participants in the Geneseo Early Season Invitational recorded personal bests over the weekend. To name a few, Ashleigh Lacy, Kayla Guerre and Ethan Paragas. The Lakers took first place in the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay by over four seconds.
THE BASICS
HOW IT HAPPENED

Lacy added multiple personal bests this weekend including the 100 Meter Dash, progressing her time by .7 seconds and earned fifth place out of 50 racerts in the event.

Lacy also came in 11th in the 200 Meter Dash event, facing 38 other racers.

Guerre also added multiple personal bests including the 100 Meter Dash and in the Long Jump event.

The Lakers' 4x400 Meter Relay came in first place by over four seconds. This team included Lacy, Gretchen Dowd, Emily Gustafson and Faith Coyle.

Lindsay Fluman added a top-15 finish in the Discus throw, throwing a total of 29.97 meters. Fluman also finished in the top half of the shot put throw with a 9.45 meter throw.

Ousmane Daillo set a PR in the 100 Meter Dash, bettering his time by more than half a second.

Jack Hickey took a 14th place finish in the 200 Meter Dash with a final time of 52.54 seconds.

Nathan Couse finished 15th in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 16:02.36.

Harrington and Christopher Dorney both added top-10 finishes in the 400 Meter Hurdles. Harrington took home second place with a time just over 59 seconds (59.01) and Dorney finishing eighth at 1:02.58.

The Lakers' Men 4x400 Meter Relay team took fifth place with a time of 3:41.62.

This team included Hickey, Dorney, Diallo and Harrington.

Nathan Jennings took a top-10 finish in the Pole Vault with a 3.60 meter finish.

Ethan Paragas added a personal best and a top-15 finish in the Triple Jump with a length of 11.06 meters.

The Lakers will travel to Cortland to participate in the Cortland Red Dragon Open on Saturday, April 9.
