BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Lakers finished the SUNYAC Championship in eighth on both the Men's and Women's sides.

HOW IT HAPPENED

WT&F

• Ashleigh Lacy finished the 100 Meter dash in 12.86 seconds, collecting eighth place in the event finals.

• In the Women 5000 Meter run Emily Blake finished with a time of 20:01.47

• The Lakers placed seventh in the 4x400 meter relay. Participating in the event was Lacy, Ellie Decker, Gretchen Dowd and Faith Coyle.

• Kayla Guerre finished seventh overall in the long jump event with a distance of 5.05 meters. 

• In the finals of the Javelin event, Emily Gustafson finished in seventh place with a throw distance of 30.62 meters. 

MT&F

• In the 4x400 Meter Relay the Lakers took fifth place in the finals with a time of 3:34.99. Participating in this event was Jack Hickey, Ousmane Diallo, Christopher Dorney and Aidan Harrington. 

• Nathan Jennings finished sixth in the pole vault event with a height of 3.95. Matching his Day 1 height. 

• Michael Saavedra in the Men Shot Put finished sixth with a distance of 13.28 meters. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Lakers will send runners to regionals to compete in the AARTFC Outdoor Championship in Bethlehem Pa. at Moravian University. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 18 through the 19th.
