OSWEGO, NY -Congratulations to
Macey DeOrdio of the women's basketball team for scoring his 1000
th career point on Saturday at SUNY Brockport.
DeOrdio started her career at Onondaga Community College where she played two seasons. In 2021-22 she started all twenty-nine games she played, averaging 16.5 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds. In her second season, DeOrdio started twenty-five of the twenty-six games she appeared in. She averaged 16.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5 assists. In two seasons at OCC, she shot 405 from the field and 32% from three. DeOrdio then transferred to Roberts Wesleyan University for the Fall semester of 2023 where she appeared in seven games for the Red Hawks, she then transferred to SUNY Oswego for the spring semester of 2024. In 11 games for the Lakers, Macey is shooting 32% from three and averaging 7.5 points.
Women's basketball will return home this weekend to take on the Fredonia Blue Devils Friday night and the Buff State Bengals on Saturday afternoon. These are two big SUNYAC games as the Lakers gear up for the post season!
