OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's basketball team has officially announced its 2025-26 season schedule, featuring a competitive mix of non-conference challenges and SUNYAC showdowns as the Lakers aim to make their mark in the conference standings.
The season tips off at home on November 11 hosting St. Lawrence.
The Lakers will participate in the Hamilton Tournament from November 15-16, taking on St. John Fisher and host Hamilton. Later that month, the team travels to face regional powers Amherst (Nov. 25) and Middlebury (Nov. 30), adding strength to their non-conference résumé.
Conference play begins on December 5 with a road contest at Cortland, followed by a trip to SUNY Morrisville on December 6 and SUNY Poly on December 13. Oswego opens the new year at home against Houghton on January 3 before diving back into SUNYAC action.
The heart of the conference schedule features home-and-home matchups with New Paltz, Potsdam, Plattsburgh, Oneonta, Canton, Buffalo State, and Fredonia. The Lakers' final regular-season home game is set for February 21 against Buffalo State, capping a stretch of six home games in their final eight contests.
Postseason aspirations will hinge on the SUNYAC Tournament, which begins February 24 with the first round and concludes February 28 with the championship game.
All home games will be held at Laker Hall, where the team looks to capitalize on home-court advantage in front of the Oswego faithful.
