Wiley Reaches 200 Career Points

OSWEGO, NY – After tallying 8 points against the Morrisville Mustangs, Sela Wiley of the SUNY Oswego women's Lacrosse team officially has 200 career points!

Wiley is a graduate student from Cheshire, Connecticut who plays midfield for the Lakers. Last season, she led the Lakers in points and assists, with 96 and 43 respectively, which were also career highs. Wiley also scored 53 goals, which were the second most on the team. In her junior season, she also led the Led the team in total goals with 37 and points with 57. In her career, she has started all 49 games she has appeared in scoring a total of 124 goals and assisting on 76 others. Wiley has caused 93 turnovers, nabbed 270 draw controls, and 181 ground balls.

"Sela has been one of the most impactful players in program history. The way she has led the team on and off the field, she will have a lasting legacy here and 200 points is one of the culminating factors of her hard work and dedication to the program!" Head Coach Brittany Howard.

The Lakers will take on Clarkson University this afternoon at 4:00 PM where they will look to secure their second win of the season.
