NORTHBOROUGH, MA. – The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2025. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2024 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 23.

Sophie Ruschin
Madison Davis earned First Team All-Conference honors for women's lacrosse in the SUNYAC after an exceptional season as a dynamic offensive leader. She finished with 33 goals and 41 assists, totaling an impressive 74 points and consistently driving her team's scoring efforts. In addition to her offensive production, she contributed defensively with 14 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers, demonstrating her all-around impact. In 2022, Davis was named third team all-conference in the SUNYAC making this her twice recognized by the conference. Earlier this year she was awarded Offensive athlete of the week by the SUNYAC. Madison is a graduate student at Oswego and came to the Lakers from Whitesboro, NY.
Sophie Ruschin earned First Team All-Conference honors in the SUNYAC for women's lacrosse with an outstanding season as a dominant defender and all-around force on the field. While primarily anchoring the defense, Ruschin also contributed offensively with 12 goals and 4 assists for 16 points. Defensively, she was a standout with 30 ground balls and an impressive 24 caused turnovers, consistently disrupting opponents and creating opportunities for her team. Additionally, she controlled 81 draws, making her a key figure in gaining possession and dictating the flow of the game. As a sophomore, that was the second time Ruschin has been recognized by the conference after earning second team all-conference in 2024. Sophie comes to the Lakers from Riverhead, New York.
