OSWEGO, NY – Oswego State Athletics has announced the Oswego Health Student-Athletes of the Month for February. Congratulations to
Faith Coyle of the women's Indoor Track and Field team and
Shane Bull of the men's ice hockey team.
Faith Coyle has been selected as this month after finishing in first place in the women's 800-meter (2:16.15) at the SUNAYC Indoor Track Championships. Coyle was also named first team all SUNYAC and to the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All- Region for her 800-meter time.
Bull netted an impressive 22 goals and contributed 20 assists, accumulating 42 points in just 26 games this season. This performance propelled the Lakers to numerous victories. The culmination of Shane's outstanding season came with the announcement of the 2023-24 Herb Hammond Player of the Year award, a prestigious honor in the SUNYAC college hockey community. This makes #24 the 13th Oswego player in award history to receive this accolade. Shane was also named first team all-conference in the SUNYAC. Since the conclusion of the season, Bull has signed a professional contract with the Adirondak Thunder of the ECHL.
