OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's tennis team is in Hilton Head South Carolina this week for spring break. They kicked off their trip today with a match against Stevenson University.

HOW IT HAPPENED

On the singles side, Matthew Mannara opened with a tough loss to Johnson the third on Stevenson. Anthony Marcano took care of business in his single match, winning 6-4, 6-2. Ethan Bannochie followed suit and took down his singles opponent, 6-3, 6-3. Austin Davis (6-2, 6-1) and Zachary Demott (6-0, 6-0) also went on to win their singles matches giving Oswego a strong lead.
For Doubles, after Matthew Mannara and Austin Davis fell to Stevenson, Bannochie and Marcano won a close match, 8-5. Zach Demott and Trevor Stern finished the doubles off strong with a 8-1 win over the Mustangs.
The Lakers secured the overall win by a score of 5-1.
