OSWEGO, NY - The SUNY Oswego Lakers women's basketball team is excited to unveil its 2024-2025 season schedule. With a mix of conference and non-conference games, the Lakers are gearing up for a competitive season.

The season kicks off on November 8, 2024, with an away game against St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. The Lakers will then return to Oswego for the Max Ziel Women's Basketball Tournament, beginning with a home opener against SUNY Poly on November 15 at 5:30 PM.

Highlights of the season include:

• Max Ziel Women's Basketball Tournament: Hosted at the Max Ziel Gymnasium, the tournament will feather Suny Oswego, Suny Poly, Geneseo, and Amherst.
• Key Home Games: Fans can look forward to thrilling matchups against Alfred University (November 23), Middlebury (January 4), Plattsburgh State (February 14), and New Paltz (January 7).
• Rivalry Matchups: The Lakers will face SUNY Cortland and SUNY Potsdam in critical conference clashes.
• New Challenges: SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Canton are new members of the SUNYAC and Oswego will face them twice this season.

This season also features holiday tournament play, with the Lakers traveling to Smith College for the Smith Holiday Tournament on December 30 and 31. The Smith Tournament will feature SUNY Oswego, Smith College, Wesleyan, and Roger Williams.
