Oswego, NY – The United Soccer Coaches has announced their all-region teams for the 2025 women's soccer season. Congratulations to the Lakers very own Amber McDermott on being named Third Team All-Region III.

This season McDermott started all 18 games as a midfielder for the Lakers. She scored 4 goals while adding 4 assists for a total of 12 points in 18 games. McDermott was named First Team All-Conference in the SUNYAC this season as a midfielder. This is not the first season that McDermott has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches. In 2023 she was named 2^nd team all-region and in 2024 she was named 3^rd team all-region.

The United Soccer Coaches is made up of 30,000 members who recognize the achievement of outstanding players and coaches at all levels of the game, presenting nearly 10,000 individual awards through its All-America, Scholar All-America, Team Academic Awards, Coach of the Year, Player of the Year and special organizational contribution awards such as the United Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame and Honor Award.

Oswego women's soccer finished the season with an overall record of 6-6-5 and a 3-2-4 SUNYAC record.
