BUFFALO, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Buffalo for day three of the SUNYAC-Allegheny Mountain Conference Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men's Meet:
The Lakers kicked thing off in the 400 yard IM, as Jake Sarnowski and
Manav Sindhi finished in 7th and 5th respectively, both boasting best times of 4:25.86 and 4:22.65.
In the "B" final of the 100 yard butterfly,
Jayden Hernandez went a 52.76 taking 9th place, with
Mitchell Stevens finishing 5th in the "A" final with a time of 52.43.
In the "B" final of the 200 yard Freestyle, Sam Waddell,
Antonio Medina and
Duncan Smith finished in 12th, 14th, and 11th respectively.
Ryan Murphy took 6th in the "A" final, throwing down a time of 1:45.57.
In the 100 yard breaststroke,
Manav Sindhi finished 11th in the "B" final, with
Nathan Ratta Vine taking 3rd in the "A" final, with a time of 58.30.
In the "B" final of the 100 yard backstroke,
Jayden Hernandez took 10th for the Lakers, closing out Oswego's individual events for the day.
The Lakers closed out night three with the 400 medley relay, as the "A" relay of
Jayden Hernandez,
Nathan Ratta Vine,
Mitchell Stevens, and
Ryan Murphy took 5th place.
Women's Meet:
Fion Hon started things out for the Lakers in the "B" final of the 400 yard IM, finishing in 14th place with a time of 5:15.70.
Anna Baker and Izzy Dague both swam in the "A" final, finishing in 6th and 1st respectively, as Dague finished just shy of the school record with a time of 4:43.33.
In the "B" final of the 100 yard butterfly,
Katherine Burch finished 9th with a time of 1:02.27.
Emily Seldin took 11th in the "B" final of the 200 freestyle, with Bella McDonald and Jayna LaFerriere finishing in 4th and 2nd respectively in the "A" final.
McKenna Briggs and
Aurora Jarvie took 10th and 11th in the "B" final of the 100 yard breaststroke, with
Emily Lotito finishing 4th in the "A" final with a time of 1:10.00.
In the 400 yard medley relay, the Lakers team of Izzy Dague,
Emily Lotito,
Katherine Burch, and Jayna LaFerriere took 4th, finishing with a time of 4:14.79.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Oswego State Lakers will be back in action tomorrow for the final events of championships and will head back to Oswego to reflect on another successful season.
