Oswego N.Y. - SUNY Oswego has announced Deacon Judd from men's basketball and Giavanna White-Principio from women's basketball as the Student-Athletes of the Month for December recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the month.

Giavanna White-Principio of the Oswego women's basketball team has been named Student-Athlete of the Month following an impressive three-game stretch. White-Principio averaged 17.0 points and a dominant 14.7 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor. She also showcased her versatility and defensive presence by totaling six blocks and five assists during the span. Earlier this season, Giavanna was named the SUNYAC Athlete of the week and is currently 4^th in the conference in points per game (15.9), 1^st in the conference in rebounds per game (13.9) and 3^rd in the conference in FG% (50.9).

Deacon Judd of the Oswego men's basketball team has been named Student-Athlete of the Month after a standout stretch that helped propel the Lakers to a perfect 4–0 record in December. Over four games, Judd averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the floor. He also made his presence felt on the defensive end, recording one block and four steals during the span. So far this season, Judd has been named SUNYAC Athlete of the week twice and is 2^nd in the conference in points per game (18.7), and 4^th in rebounds per game (8.1).
