Oswego, NY - The Oswego Lakers women's hockey team is proud to announce the continuation of its impactful program, Lake Effect Hockey Moms, for the second year in a row. This initiative is dedicated to fostering the growth of hockey among women and mothers of young hockey players in our community.

Running from October to March, the Lake Effect Hockey Moms program has successfully enrolled 43 women this season, providing them with a unique opportunity to enhance their skills while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow participants. Each week, participants engage in skill stations and scrimmages designed to improve their hockey abilities in a supportive environment.

The program not only emphasizes skill development but also ensures that all participants have access to the necessary equipment. Goalie equipment, jerseys, and socks are provided to all enrolled women, making it easier for them to participate and enjoy the game.
