Oswego, N.Y.- Oswego landed two players on All-SUNYAC teams following their excellent 14-9-2 regular season, which saw them take the second seed in the SUNYAC Tournament.
Jenna Majewski - Second Team
Georgia Cunliffe - All-Rookie Team
Jenna Majewski (Peoria, AZ / UMASS Boston) was named to the All-SUNYAC Second Team following an excellent season for the Lakers this year. Majewski, in her second season with the Lakers after transferring from UMASS Boston, recorded 8 goals and 5 assists, for 13 points on the year. Her 8 goals this season have her tied for 9th in the SUNYAC in goals.
Georgia Cunliffe (Millgrove, ON / Westmount) was named to the All-SUNYAC Rookie Team following her impressive freshman season. Cunliffe recorded 8 goals and 8 assists for 16 points in her debut season in the green and gold. She made her mark early on, as she burst onto the scene for the Lakers, recording 2 goals in her first three career games. Cunliffe was also successful in the faceoff circle, with a percentage of .512, amongst the leaders in the conference.
The Lakers currently sit at a record of 14-9-2, which earned them the second seed in the SUNYAC Tournament. They were awarded a bye to the SUNYAC Semi-Finals, where they will host #3-seeded Cortland. That game is scheduled for February 28th, with puck drop set for 3:00 P.M.
