OSWEGO, N.Y. — SUNY Oswego Athletics has announced
Alexis Hill (women's lacrosse) and
Emmet Satrowicz (men's lacrosse) as its
March Student-Athletes of the Month, recognizing a pair of standout performers who led the Lakers to a strong start to the spring season.
Hill turned in a dominant month for the women's lacrosse program, emerging as one of the most dynamic offensive players in the SUNYAC. The junior attacker totaled
39 goals and 15 assists for 44 points, leading the conference in scoring while ranking second in goals. Her impact extended well beyond the attack zone, as she added
29 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers, and 20 draw controls, showcasing her ability to influence all facets of the game. Hill also earned a SUNYAC Athlete of the week selection during the month. This month Hill hit the career milestones of 100 goals, 100 points, 100 draw controls, and 100 ground balls.
On the men's side, Starowicz orchestrated the Lakers' offense with precision and consistency throughout March. The junior midfielder recorded
24 points on nine goals and 15 assists, ranking third in the SUNYAC in assists while serving as the team's primary playmaker. Starowicz also reached a significant career milestone, surpassing
100 career points during the month. In addition to his offensive production, he contributed
10 ground balls and two caused turnovers, impacting possession and transition play.
