How It Happened
On the women's side,
Kyra Pellegrino delivered a standout performance, earning a bronze medal with a time of 38:54.09 in the 10,000m. Pellegrino's effort secured valuable points for the Lakers, while Jessica Torrey added depth to the event with a sixth-place finish, crossing in 41:28.91.
The men's 10,000-meter run saw similar success, as
Noah Melita claimed third place with a time of 32:22.63 to reach the podium. Noah's time ranks him 6
th all time in Oswego history. TJ Bowes (36:10.57) and
Aidan Hafer (36:26.12) also contributed with 15th- and 17th-place finishes, respectively, rounding out a solid distance showing for Oswego.
In the field events, Eric Gordon-Wheeler continued to make history in the hammer throw. His mark of 46.06 meters placed him 12th overall and moved him into second place on Oswego's all-time performance list, further cementing his impact on the program.
Jason Hunt-McLean added another top 10 finish for the Lakers in the men's javelin, placing ninth with a throw of 40.24 meters.
