Oswego State Athletics

Katie Reynolds of the field hockey team has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the weekend ending Sept 24.

The junior entered the game against Keuka College on Sept. 20 with two goals and one assist on the season. She then scored three of Oswego’s four goals in a 4-2 road win over the Wolves.

Reynolds first scored early in the second half on a long shot from the right edge of the box off an assist by Monica Harvey. Exactly five minutes later, Reynolds would capitalize on a rebound down low to make the score 3-0 Oswego State with less than 30 minutes remaining. Keuka would tack one on before Reynolds again would score her third of the game. This was her second goal of the game assisted by Harvey, off the rebound.

Reynolds and the field hockey team square-off against Morrisville State at 4 p.m on Wednesday, in Morrisville, N.Y.
