OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Ryan Enos of the nationally-ranked Laker baseball team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 8. The freshman's on-base percentage of .747 throughout the week helped Oswego secure a 5-0 record, pushing its win streak to 11.

Enos finished the week batting .500 with a 6-for-12 showing in the batter's box. That impressive stat was boasted by nine walks and eight runs scored in the quintet of appearances.

During Monday's doubleheader sweep of SUNY Canton, Enos went 3-for-4 with four walks. Over the three-game weekend series against conference-foe Oneonta, the Oriskany, N.Y. native was 3-for-8 with five walks and a pair of stolen bases.

With the nearly .800 on-base percentage in the five tilts, Enos pushed his season mark to a team-leading .596.

Enos and the Lakers will next face St. John Fisher College at 4 p.m. on Tuesday when the Cardinals visit campus.
