The Oswego State men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-4 game at St. John Fisher College on Wednesday afternoon. The game was played at Fisher's Growney Stadium after originally being scheduled for Oswego State.
The Lakers outshot the Cardinals 9-7 in the first quarter but trailed on the scoreboard 4-0 after the first 15 minutes. Oswego State's first goal of the game was scored by Steve Tronovitch with 12:19 remaining in the second quarter. Tronovitch also had an assist in the contest.
Oswego State's Rob Tramontozzi, an Irondequoit native, returned to nearby Pittsford and scored two goals to lead the Laker offense. Chad Kellman had the other Laker goal. Adam Geier had two assists for Oswego State.
Laker goalie Matt Pfister made six saves in the game. St. John Fisher goalie Brian Cummings had seven saves and Mike Matteo made one save in relief.
Oswego State is now 1-2 on the season.
