The Oswego State men's lacrosse team defeated SUNY Farmingdale 14-10 on Sunday afternoon, outscoring the host Rams 8-3 in the second half of the game.
John Schumacher and Ryan Rossborough continued to pace the Oswego State offense early in the year as each scored three goals in this contest. Mike Brewster and Mike Strohm each had two goals and an assist. Steve Tronovitch, Dan Rogers, Mike Recor and Matt Ficarra also scored for Oswego State.
The Lakers trailed 8-7 at the half but turned the game around with five goals in the third quarter, scored by five different players, to just one for Farmingdale. Two of those five third-quarter goals came on man-up opportunities.
Laker goalie Matt Pfister made 17 saves in the game.
The Lakers are now 2-0 on the season and will prepare to face top-five nationally-ranked RIT on Saturday.
