The Laker men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-9 game at Utica on Saturday evening. Utica's David O'Connell scored in overtime to give the Pioneers the victory. The Lakers are now 2-2 on the year.

Steve Tronovitch had four goals to lead the Lakers, including the game-tying goal with 2:51 left in the fourth quarter that tied the score 9-9. Oswego State trailed by three, but scored the last three goals of regulation to force overtime.

Mike Strohm had two goals for the Lakers and Dan Rogers, Matt Ficarra, and Mike Recor also scored. Paul Palucci and Rogers had assists for Oswego State. Laker goalie Matt Pfister had 19 saves in the cage.

The Lakers host St. Lawrence Tuesday at 4 p.m. on Laker Field.
