Freshman forward Eric Selleck (Shanley, ONT/Pembroke Lumberkings) registered his first collegiate hat-trick and was one of three players to tally multi-goal performances as the Lakers (6-1-1, 4-0-1 SUNYAC) scored the game's opening eight goals, six coming in the first period, en route to their seventh straight game without a loss in an 11-3 manhandling of The College at Brockport in a SUNYAC game on Friday, November 21 at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

Selleck, who also registered an assists, scored the final goal of the opening period at 18:26 and tallied the final two goals of the evening at 7:51 and 18:11 of the third period, the second coming on the power play after the Brockport bench was called for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Senior defenseman Mark Lozzi (Richmondhill, ONT/St. Michael's Buzzers) scored two of the game's first two goals in the opening 9:40, both coming shorthanded (6:38 and 9:40), while senior Ryan Ellis (Georgetown, ONT/Oakville Blades) scored twice in taking over the team lead in goals (eight) and points (15).

Seniors Peter Magagna (Orangeville, ONT/Wellington Dukes) and Matt Whitehead (Newmarket, ONT/Newmarket Hurricanes), and sophomore Josh Chamberlain (Belleville, ONT/Wellington Dukes) each tallied a goal and two assists, while junior Neil Musselwhite scored a goal as Oswego outshot Brockport, 43-17.

Freshman Paul Beckwith (Cleveland, OH/Pembroke Lumberkings) remained undefeated in drawing his fourth start in goal, stopping 14 shots.

The Lakers complete the back-to-back weekend with a 7 p.m. conference showdown with SUNY Geneseo at the Campus Center Ice Arena, where one lucky Oswego State fan will have an opportunity to win a Spring Break Getaway during the second intermission.
