The Oswego State men's lacrosse team lost 15-6 on 17th-ranked St. Lawrence on Wednesday.

The host Saints built a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and held an 11-3 lead at halftime en route to the victory. Mike Recor had four goals for Oswego State and John Schumacher scored twice. Two of Oswego State's goals were on man-up opportunities, and Oswego State was 2-for-6 in that category.

Laker starting goalie Judd Robinson made 17 saves in 50 minutes of action. Matt Pfister played the last 10 minutes and had one save.

The Lakers' home opener is Saturday at 1 p.m. against Utica College on Laker Field. Please note the recent time change, as it was originally scheduled for later in the afternoon.
