The Oswego State men's lacrosse team lost 21-9 at Geneseo on Wednesday afternoon. The host Blue Knights are currently ranked 11th in the nation.
Geneseo scored seven goals in the second quarter and seven more in the third to take control of the game.
Mike Recor scored twice for Oswego State and seven other players scored one goal each. Mike Brewster had one goal and an assist, and Cam Davoy had a goal and an assist. Laker goalie Judd Robinson had 13 saves and Matt Pfister played the last 11 minutes, making two saves.
Geneseo's top scorer was Tom Costanza with six goals and four assists. Mike Pizzuto had a goal and seven assists.
Oswego State is now 2-9 on the season and 1-3 in the SUNY Athletic Conference. Geneseo is 9-1 and 4-0 in the SUNYAC. The Lakers play at Oneonta on Saturday at 2 p.m.
