The Oswego State men's lacrosse team held a 3-2 lead heading into the second quarter, but Oneonta erupted for seven second quarter goals as the Lakers fell 17-9 on Saturday afternoon in Oneonta.

Oneonta posted the first two goals of the game, but Oswego State rattled off three straight scores from the sticks of Jean, Andy Lever (So., Lindenhurst, N.Y.), and Andy Williams (So., Hamburg, N.Y.) to take a 3-2 lead after the first 15 minutes of play.
Ryan White gave the Lakers a 4-2 advantage 35 seconds into the second quarter before the Red Dragons out-scored Oswego State 7-1 before intermission for a four-goal halftime lead.
Oneonta continued to distance itself from the Lakers in the third with three more goals to make the score 12-6. The lone Oswego State goal came from White on a man-up opportunity with 5:49 on the clock. The Red Dragons added five goals in the fourth quarter compared to three for the Lakers as Oneonta cruised to a 17-9 victory.
Oswego State goalie Judd Robinson (Sr., Guilderland, N.Y.) finished the game with 16 saves, while Red Dragon goalies Chris Miles and Mike Sullivan combined to make 10 saves.
