Men's Lax Concludes Season With Road Loss

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team fell 10-4 in its regular season finale to Plattsburgh Saturday afternoon on the road. With the loss, the Lakers conclude their season with a 2-4 record in the conference and 6-9 overall. Plattsburgh finishes its regular season with a 4-2 SUNYAC record (8-7 overall).

The Lakers offense was distributed evenly throughout the four quarters, scoring a goal a period. Luke Krizman had a hat trick on the day including a man-up conversion in the fourth stanza. Tom Herbert notched the Lakers other tally, scoring his sixth of the year in the third.

Despite allowing 10 goals, Wyatt Russo put up a career-high in saves, turning aside 20 Cardinal shots. This is the second time in as many games he has set a new career high.

On special teams, the Lakers had a 100 percent conversion rate, scoring on the single aforementioned man-up opportunity.

With Potsdam's win over Brockport today, Oswego has been eliminated from conference playoff contention.
