OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Lakers announce the schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 Women's Ice Hockey season. The full schedule can be seen below:

As seen above, the Lakers will have one home exhibition against the London Jr. Devilettes on October 21st at 3:00PM. This will be the Lakers' annual Pink the Rink game, everyone is encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Oswego will start their regular season on the road against the William Smith College Herons on October 27th at 7:00PM in The Cooler.
The next day the Lakers will finish off their two-game series against the Herons at home at 3:00PM. This will be the Lakers' annual Teal Game, in support of spreading awareness of Ovarian Cancer.
SUNYAC, yes I said SUNYAC play for the Lakers Women's Hockey program will initiate on November 3rd against the Reigning NEWHL champions of Plattsburgh. This will be the first year of SUNYAC Women's Ice Hockey, making it their 21st sponsored sport. To read more about this change see the story here.
Oswego will stay in the North Country to take on the SUNY Canton 'Roos on the 4th of November at 3:00PM.
On November 10th the Lakers will take on the Morrisville Mustangs at 3:00PM and rounding off the four game road trip will be SUNY Cortland on November 17th at a time to be determined.
Oswego will return home for one game on November 18th against the Bengals of Buffalo State which will also feature their annual, Teddy Bear Toss night along with the United Way Food/Toy Drive. Fans are encouraged to being teddy bears with them to the game to donate to the United Way. When the Lakers score their first goal, fans are to throw their Teddy Bears and stuffed animals onto the ice surface for collection to be donated. This is the only time anything is permitted to be thrown onto the ice playing surface.
The Lakers and Bulldogs will keep the Corbett sisters Tradition alive, traveling to Adrian College for a doubleheader on November 24th and 25th at 5:00PM on Friday and 1:00PM on Saturday in Adrian, Michigan.
From here the Lakers will travel to SUNY Potsdam for a SUNYAC Contest on December 1st at 3:00PM.
Oswego will take a 30 day break from contests, not playing again until the 31st of December against the always skilled Amherst College Mammoths. This game will take place in Amherst, Massachusetts at 1:00PM.
Hometown Heroes weekend will feature the Plattsburgh Cardinals this year on January 5th at 7:00PM and January 6th at 3:00PM for a pair of conference contests.
Alumni Day will be on January 12th this season against the Potsdam Beats at 7:00PM.
The Lakers will finish their series with the Bears of Potsdam the following day which will feature Girls Hockey Day at 3:00PM.
January 16th the Lakers will take on the Hamilton College Continentals at 5:00PM for Employee Appreciation Night.
Utica University will trek their way up to the shores of Laker Ontario on January 19th at 3:00PM for an out of conference game.
Oswego will again travel to Cortland to take on the Red Dragons January 26th again, at a time to be determined.
The next day Oswego and Cortland will finish their regular season series at the DEB, puck drop is set for 3:00PM.
February 2nd the Green and Gold will play their second game against the Morrisville Mustangs at 7:00PM.
Morrisville will then travel to Oswego to finish their series. Oswego will feature their Pride Night on February 3rd at 3:00PM.
Women's Ice Hockey will also feature a Whiteout Weekend, the Women's Ice Hockey team will take on the SUNY Canton 'Roos on February 10th at 3:00PM and February 11th at 2:00PM. WEAR WHITE!!
The Women's Ice Hockey regular season will end with a two-game road trip against the Buffalo State Bengals on February 16th with a 7:00PM puck drop and February 17th with a 3:00PM puck drop.
Post season play will begin February 24th with the SUNYAC Semi Finals and will finish on Saturday, May 2nd with the SUNYAC Championship Finals.
