OSWEGO, NY -THE SUNYAC has officially released the men's soccer all conference teams and the Lakers have landed three student athletes on the second and third teams.
Kyle Gehnrich, a midfielder, secured a spot on the second team. Gehnrich had a successful season that landed himself in the all-time ranks for Oswego. In 17 games this season he assisted 8 goals and scored 3 himself. After this season Kyle is officially tied for 4
th in career assists (16), tied for 10
th in career goals (11) and tied for 4
th in assists in a season (8) in the Oswego history books. Gehnrich, a captain, is a graduate student from Commack, NY.
Tajay Ellis was named to the third team. In his first season as a Laker, scored 5 goals and assisted on another in 16 games. As a forward, Ellis was a menace to opposing defenses all season. He constantly beat the defender to the ball creating scoring opportunities or corners for the Lakers. Ellis is from Queens, NY.
Hajoon Lee was named to the third team. Lee, a midfielder, appeared in 16 games for the Lakers and controlled the pace from the middle of the field. Lee played the second most minutes on the team and was the on-field general directing traffic along with fellow captain, Gehnrich. Lee is a senior from Pittsford, NY.
