Oswego, NY - The Oswego State Men's Soccer team lands two all-SUNYAC honors following the end of their season on Oct. 25th.
Tajay Ellis and
Kieran Husselbeck were both named to all SUNYAC teams, as the pair of Lakers were instrumental in many games this season.
Junior
Tajay Ellis (Queens, N.Y. / High School for Law and Public Service) was named to the All-SUNYAC First Team, where he scored four goals through 12 games, 10 of those games being starts. While he ranks 18th in the SUNYAC in goals, he is tied for the least number of games played out of the men above him (Freddie Butler from Fredonia has 5 goals in 12 games). Ellis hopes to build on his excellent Junior season with a statement senior campaign next fall.
Junior
Kieran Husselbeck (Huntington, N.Y. / Huntington High School) takes home All-SUNYAC Third Team in addition to Ellis. Husselbeck started all 15 games he played in this season, and ranks third on the team in minutes played (1147). He registered an assist this year in what was an excellent overall season for the midfielder, as he consistently anchored the middle of the pitch for Oswego.
