OSWEGO, NY -THE SUNYAC has officially released the women's soccer all-conference teams and the Lakers have landed three student athletes on the second and third teams.

#26 Ericka Yancey – Second Team

Midfielder
Amber McDermott was named second team all-conference. This season, McDermott scored three goals for 6 total points in 17 games. She helped control the pace for the Lakers in the middle of the field all year while also taking the majority of the corner kicks. In 2023 she was named second team all-conference and in 2022 she was named third team all-conference. Amber is a junior and comes to Oswego from Rock Tavern, NY.
Erika Yancey is a transfer student to Oswego and was named second team all-conference in her first season as a Laker. In 17 games, Yancey scored 4 goals including 2 in a game against the Houghton Highlanders. As a midfielder, Yancey created a lot of pressure on opposing defenses and helped the Lakers earn 9 wins this season. Erika is a junior at Oswego and is from Fairport, NY.
Gillian Groth, a defender, is named to the third team all-conference after being named second team all-conference in 2023. Groth was a key defender for the Lakers, giving opposing offenses headaches all season. In her junior season, she started all 17 games playing the most minutes of anyone on the team. Growth comes to Oswego from Hamburg, NY.
