OSWEGO, NY – SUNY Oswego Athletics is set to announce the student-athletes of the month for October 2024. Congratulations to Priscilla McReynolds of the women's volleyball team and Kyle Gehnrich of the men's soccer team!

Priscilla McReynolds had an exceptional October for the Lakers. Overall, she tallied 73 kills, 72 digs, 11 aces, and 5 blocks. In 27 sets, she averaged 2.7 kills per set as well as 2.7 digs per set. For the season McReynolds is leading the Lakers with 279 kills, 251 digs, and 326.5 points. She currently is fourth in the SUNYAC in kills as well as points with one game remaining before playoffs. Priscilla is in her freshman season and comes to Oswego from Poughkeepsie, NY.

Kyle Gehnrich continued his successful season in October and landed himself in the all-time ranks for Oswego. In 8 games this month he assisted 4 goals and scored 1 himself.  For the season, Gehnrich has 8 assists which is second most in the SUNYAC for men's soccer. After this season Kyle is officially tied for 4^th in career assists (16), tied for 10^th in career goals (11) and tied for 4^th in assists in a season (8) in the Oswego history books. Gehnrich is a graduate student from Commack, NY.
