HOW IT HAPPENED

Conor Tierney was the first golfer out for the Lakers. Tierney was great out of the gate sinking birdies on the first three holes. He gave a few strokes back before the turn but made the turn at 37 strokes. After starting the back nine with a double bogey, he settled in securing a few pars before finishing the round at 79 (+8)

Gavin Neuland was next and had only three pars on the front nine making the turn at 42 strokes. On the back nine he improved with four pars and finished his round with an overall score of 82 (+11)

Tyler Donohue tee'd off third for the Lakers. He settled in with a par on 4 and birdie on 5 to make the turn at 41 strokes. On the back he sank two more birdies shooting the same score on both the front and back finishing him at 82 (+11).

Evan McDonald took a minute to settled into his round and had a score of 45 at the turn. After starting with an 8 on the back, he sank three straight pars and finished with an overall score of 89 (+18)

John O'Neill rounded out the first group for the Lakers. John shot best in the middle of the front nine and made the turn at 45 strokes. He was plagued with a bogey bug on the back and finished with a score of 93 (+22).

Jacob Banks was next out of the clubhouse for the Lakers. He scored two pars on the front nine for a 44 at the turn. After a birdie on the par 3 12th, Jacob finished with an overall score of 87 (+16).

Next off the tee for the Lakers was Dante Cassella. Dante birdied the par 4 6th hole on the front to bring his front nine score to 39. No birdies and a few bogeys on the back would hurt Cassella's score and finish him at an 83 on the day. (+12)
