OSWEGO, NY – The 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced in all 10 regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. Two Lakers were selected this season in region 3, Jelani Hamer to first team and Owen Parliament to third team.

In 2024, Hamer led the league with a .725 slugging percentage including 21 doubles and 7 home runs. He also was No. 2 with 54 runs in 38 games. Overall Hamer was first in the conference with 21 doubles and second in the conference with a batting average of .443. He finished the season second in the conference with 39 RBI Over 38 games. Hamer was named first team all-conference in the SUNYAC as well as SUNYAC Player of the Year. Jelani is a senior outfield from the Bronx, NY.

Parliament had a stellar year as well at first base for the Lakers. Owen was tied for first in the conference with 8 home runs. His on base percentage of .518 was third in the conference and his slugging percentage was second in the conference (.687) behind only his teammate, Hamer. He hit for an average of .381 in the season with 51 hits, 15 doubles, 37 RBI, and 42 runs. Owen is a senior first baseman from La Fargeville, NY.
