BUFFALO, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Buffalo for the final day of the SUNYAC-Allegheny Mountain Conference Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Women's Meet:
Izzy Dague took 5th in the 1650 yard freestyle, with Emily Seldin taking 8th.
In the 200 Yard Backstroke, Fion Hon finished 13th in the "B" final. Izzy Dague tacked on an impressive 4th place finish in the "A" final.
Katherine Burch finished in 16th in the "B" final of the 100 yard freestyle. Along with that, McKenna Briggs took 4th, and Jayna LaFerriere took first, breaking Oswego's School record with an official time of 52.46.
In the 200 yard breaststroke, Kaitlin Wheeler took 16th in the "B" final. In the "A" final, Aurora Jarvie took 7th, with Emily Lotito finishing third, and earning herself some silverware.
In the 200 yard fly, Fion Hon and Anna Baker took 9th and 12th. Along with that, Bella McDonald took 5th.
In the 400 yard freestyle relay, the Lakers "A" relay of Emily Seldin, McKenna Briggs, Katherine Burch, and Jayna LaFerriere finished 4th overall, ending the meet on a bang.
The Lakers finished the meet in 3rd place overall, recording a 2nd place finish within the SUNYAC Conference.
Men's Meet:
Ryan Liedka took 14th in the 1650 yard freestyle, with Jake Sarnowski finishing 8th.
In the 200 yard backstroke, Mitchell Stevens took 11th in the "B" final.
During the "B" final of the 100 yard freestyle, Ryan Murphy finished 9th, with Duncan Smith and Antonio Medina finishing is 11th and 15th.
In the "A" final, Sam Waddell placed 7th.
Manav Sindhi took 11th in the 200 yard breaststroke "B" final, with Nathan Ratta Vine placing 4th overall in the "A" final.
In the 200 yard butterfly, Jayden Hernandez won the "B" final, finishing in 9th. Mitchell Stevens took fifth in the "A" final.
Anthony Serrano finished 6th in 3-meter diving, with a score of 321.10

The Lakers finished the meet in 3rd place overall, recording a 2nd place finish within the SUNYAC Conference.
