BROCKPORT, NY. - The Oswego State Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Brockport today, and came out on top with a comfortable 10-5 victory

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers started things out slow, recording seven shots, but not finding the back of the net a single time in the first quarter. Luckily for the Lakers, Seamus Hand held strong in goal, allowing just two goals in the first 15 minutes of play.

In the second quarter, the Golden Eagles started out fast, scoring just a minute in. From there the Lakers went on a dominant 6-0 run, with Corey O'Connor recording 3 goals and 1 assist. Along with that, Gavin Elston, Jason Dongelewic, and Emmett Starowizc each netting one, and the Lakers went into the half ahead 6-3.
The third quarter was very similar to the first, as the Lakers again struggled to score, and went into the fourth ahead by a score of 6-5.

Gavin Elston scored 2 goals in 30 seconds to kick off the fourth quarter for the Lakers, completing his hat trick for the night. Corey O'Connor tacked on his fourth goal of the night with 7 minutes left to play, and Emmett Starowizc made it 10 for Oswego in the final two minutes, securing the victory for Oswego.
