OSWEGO, N.Y. – Rachel Windhausen of the women’s basketball team has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 19. Windhausen had a consistent week that included a double-double and a spot on an all-tournament team.

In the season-opener on Wednesday against Clarkson University, the junior scored 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting and grabbed 12 boards, six on each side of the floor.

Over the weekend, the Liverpool, N.Y. native went 4-for-8 in each game of the Lakers' Max ZIel Tournament, combining for 18 points and 19 rebounds in the opening and title games. She earned a spot on the Ziel All-Tournament Team for those efforts.

Windhausen and the Lakers will return to the hardwood at 5 p.m. on Tuesday when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to face the Nazareth College Golden Flyers.
