Mitch Herlihey, the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete, has played in over 100 games as a Laker. Â During that time, the senior averaged more than a point per game, finishing his career with 103 points on 38 goals and 65 assists. A two-time PathFinder Bank Classic tournament Most Valuable Player, Herlihey helped lead the Lakers to two NCAA Championship appearances, back-to-back regular season SUNYAC crowns and four SUNYAC Championship appearances. For his efforts during his senior season, the Ottawa, Ont. native earned the league's Herb Hammond Player of the Year award and was later named a Second Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association.
