OSWEGO, N.Y. - Travis Broughman of the men’s hockey team was named Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10.

Broughman netted two goals for the Lakers in a 8-1 win over Potsdam on Friday. The sophomore also recorded two assists against the Bears on Friday, along with one assist in the Laker shutout versus Plattsburgh on Friday.

The Mechanicsville, Va. native had a combined plus six on ice rating during the whiteout weekend.

Broughman and the Lakers return to action at 7 p.m. on Saturday as they host Brockport for a conference matchup.
