The Oswego State men's ice hockey team tied its second straight game this weekend, after leaving Hobart with a 2-2 deadlock on Saturday evening.
Garren Reisweber scored both Oswego State goals, and now has 10 on the season to lead the Lakers. Both of Reisweber's goals were power-play tallies. His first gave the Lakers a 1-0 lead 4:14 into the contest.
Hobart's Jason Merritt tied the score in the second period, and a goal 6:08 into the third period by Mike McCarthy put the host Statesmen ahead 2-1 at the Geneva Rec Center.
Reisweber struck again with 11:11 left to play, and that finished the scoring in the game.
Laker goalie Ryan Scott made 36 saves, and Hobart's Keith Longo had 42 saves, as the Lakers fired 40-plus shots on net for the fifth game in a row.
Oswego State is now 8-0-2 on the year, while Hobart is 3-2-1.
The Lakers return to action Dec. 1-2 at Potsdam and Plattsburgh.
