The Lakers found a way to lengthen their lead to 2-0 in the second period when Denton King buried a goal with help from Manny Gialedakis.

Enter the third period with a two-goal advantage, Oswego would more than double its margin in the final stanza. Just four minutes into the period, Matt Galati scored on a power-play opportunity. Andrew Barton and Alex Botten were both in on the action, earning assists.

Then, at the 11:11 mark, Neil found his way back on the scorecard, this time with a goal off a pass from reigning Oswego Athlete of the Week and SUNYAC Player of the Week, Mike Montagna.
