OSWEGO, NY- The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Buffalo for the first day of the 2023-2024 SUNYAC Championships. Night one events included the 200 Medley Relay, 800 Freestyle Relay, and men's 3 Meter Diving.

HOW IT HAPPENED
To begin the night, the women's 200 Medley relay team of
Isabelle Dague,
Emily Lotito,
Abigail Hinman, and
Aurora Jarvie took fourth place with a final time of 1:54.47. This earned them 30 points. Similarly, earning 30 points from their fourth-place win, was the men's quartet of Matthew Dambra, Zachary Brown, Lucas McGarry, and Vincent Mullen with a time of 1:34.81.

In the 800 Freestyle Relay, with a time of 8:21.05
McKenna Briggs, Jarvie,
Anna Baker, and Dague finished in sixth and earned 26 points toward their total score. The men's team of Nathan Ratta Vine, Jacob Sarnowski, Ryan Liedka, and Ryan Murphy also earned 26 points in sixth place with a finishing time of 7:18.96.

WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego State Swimming and Diving returns to the pool to continue their championship meet through February 24. Preliminary swims and diving begin at 10 a.m. and finals begin at 5:30 p.m.
