OSWEGO, NY – SUNY Oswego is thrilled to announce the induction of five individuals into the SUNY Oswego Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on October 12, 2024, honoring their exceptional contributions to the college's athletic legacy.

This year's distinguished inductees include:

• Carlos Dolmo '99 (Men's Wrestling): Dolmo spent two years on the SUNY Oswego wrestling team. As a two-time All-American, he demonstrated exceptional prowess on the national stage, securing 5th place at 190 pounds in 1998 and 8th place at 285 pounds in 1999. At the state level, Dolmo earned two New York State place finishes, achieving 4th in 1998 and 8th in 1999. His dominance was further highlighted in 1999 when he clinched the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championship and was honored as the conference's Most Outstanding Wrestler in the 285-pound weight class. Additionally, Dolmo was a two-time Empire Conference Finalist, finishing 2nd in 1998 and 1st in 1999, and he was named the Empire Collegiate Conference Most Outstanding Wrestler in 1998.

• Greg Doyle 08' (Men's Swimming and Diving):  Doyle's legacy as a Laker is showcased by the incredible achievements he collected during his tenure. During his time on the SUNY Oswego men's swimming and diving team, he earned SUNYAC First Team All-Conference honors as well as SUNYAC Champion three times, in 2006, 2007, and 2008 (100 and 200 freestyle), showcasing his consistent dominance in the conference. Greg was also the SUNYAC Champion in the 500 freestyle in 2008. Doyle is also named SUNYAC Swimmer of the meet at the SUNYAC Championship in 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08. In 2008 he was awarded the SUNY Oswego Outstanding Male Athlete of the year award. Doyle was also a two-time All-American in the 200-Yard Freestyle, achieving this prestigious recognition in both 2007 and 2008. In 2006 Doyle was named All American Honorable Mention for finishing 16th in the 200 Freestyle at the NCAA Championships.   His remarkable performances are further evidenced by his record-setting feats; he holds the Oswego records for both the 200-Yard Freestyle (1:39.38) and the 500-Yard Freestyle (4:40.14), both set in 2008. 

• Nick Perioli '08 (Men's basketball): Nick's remarkable athletic career at SUNY Oswego is distinguished by his exceptional achievements on the men's basketball team, spanning from 2003 to 2008. He was named the 2003-2004 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year, quickly establishing himself as a pivotal player. Perioli's leadership was evident as he served as team captain in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and 2007-2008. His efforts on the court earned him 1st Team All-SUNYAC honors and recognition as a 2nd Team Division-3 All-East Region player. Perioli also excelled in assists, leading the conference twice and holding the all-time record with 567 career assists. He was a standout defensively, setting the career record for steals with 226. His contributions were further acknowledged with the SUNY Oswego Attitude Award, the SUNY Oswego Male Athlete of the Year, and the SUNY Oswego Leadership Award. Perioli also made a mark in baseball, earning 1st Team All-SUNYAC honors in 2007 and receiving accolades for his performance and leadership. His influence extended beyond his playing days as he continued to contribute as an assistant basketball coach in 2008-2009. Perioli remains the only player in school history to accumulate over 1,000 points, 400 rebounds, 500 assists, and 200 steals, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest athletes in Oswego State history.

• Jenny (VanEtten) Reed '10 (Women's Swimming and Diving): Jenny's tenure with the SUNY Oswego Women's Swimming and Diving team is marked by a series of achievements that underscore her talent and dedication. As an All-American, Reed earned recognition in both the 200-yard and 100-yard Breaststroke events in 2009, demonstrating her skill on the national stage. At the conference level, she consistently excelled, earning SUNYAC All-Conference honors across multiple years, including Second Team selections in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and a First Team nod in 2010. Reed also set several enduring records for the team, holding the top times in the 800 Free Relay (7:52.47), the 200 Breaststroke (2:20.29), the 100 Breaststroke (1:04.16), and the 200 Individual Medley (2:08.77).

• Sean Green '90 (Men's Ice Hockey): Over four years with the Lakers, Green competed in 116 games and contributed to 76 team victories. He was a key player during three consecutive NCAA tournaments (1987, 1988, 1989), helping lead the team to the SUNYAC Championship in 1989 and an NCAA Finalist position in 1987. Green ranks impressively in the Oswego records, holding #6 all-time in total points with 216, #2 in assists with 133, and #8 in goals with 83. His performance was recognized with SUNYAC, ECAC, and NCAA All-Star honors. Notably, he led the nation in total points in 1989, with a standout season tallying 29 goals and 51 assists for 80 points in 29 games, averaging 2.75 points per game. After graduating in 1990, Green continued his hockey career professionally in Sweden's 1st Division. His contributions to Oswego hockey were recognized with his induction into the Oswego Blue Line Club Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.

The induction ceremony will celebrate these individuals' achievements and their lasting influence on the SUNY Oswego athletic community. The event will include a cocktail hour, formal ceremony, and opportunities for guests to engage with the inductees.
