BOX SCOREELMIRA, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Elmira College on the road Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 4-10 on the season.
Haley Miller picked up Oswego's only point in the match at fourth singles. After grinding out a tiebreaker win 7-6 (7-2), Miller secured the point with a 6-4 win in the second set.
Lauren Stall was also pushed to a tiebreaker at first singles but was unable to find the same fortune as Miller, eventually falling 7-6 (7-3), 6-1.
Oswego will return to the carts at 3:30 p.m. on April 7 as it travels to Aurora, N.Y. for a match with Wells College.
