Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Cathleen Palmitesso, a 1994 graduate of Oswego, Palmitesso helped the Lakers' volleyball program post a 78-31 record and a 20-9 SUNYAC mark over her final three seasons. She was recognized in each of those three seasons, earning All-SUNYAC West honors from the conference in 1991, 1992 and 1993. During 1991 and 1992, Palmitesso was also a SUNYAC All-Tournament Team Honorable Mention selection before being named to the top squad as a senior. Palmitesso also was named All-State in her final year. At the time of voting, the Oswego, N.Y. native still ranked ninth in career kills (537).
