Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Gelsomin was a member of the golden era of Laker golf, competing at national tournaments during multiple seasons in the late 1970s. In 1976, Gelsomin was part of the Oswego program that made its seventh-straight appearance at the NCAA Championship, finishing seventh as a team. Prior to the national invitational, Gelsomin helped the Lakers claim a fifth-consecutive conference championship, shooting a 77. The following year, the Lakers again returned to the NCAA tournament, placing ninth behind an Honorable Mention All-America performance from Gelsomin.
