Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Dennis Luzon was the first-ever NCAA Division III All-American for the Lakers as all prior All-Americans were part of the College Division. Luzon claimed sixth place at the 1974 NCAA Championship at 190-pounds to capture the All-America status. The 1974 graduate was runner-up at the SUNYAC Championships in both 1973 and 1974. At the New York State Championships, Luzon finished fourth in his junior year and moved up to third as a senior. Nicholson and Luzon will make it 18 members in the Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame with connections to the storied wrestling program.
