Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
During his time at Oswego State, Manners was a two-time All-American, placing fourth in the 100-yard breast at the national meet as a junior and then in the top-eight as a senior. In his final year, Manners also took home an All-America Honorable Mention accolade in the 200-yard breast. At the SUNYACs, he took home first-place titles in the 100-yard breast as a sophomore and a senior, setting the conference record for that event, which lasted for eight years. Manners also received the James Fulton Award in 1996 which is presented to the Most Outstanding Senior Male Swimmer in the SUNYAC.
