Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Arguably the most prolific volleyball player in Oswego's history, Hanlon collected several accolades while capturing several spots in the record books. She was the first – and remains the only – All-American for volleyball, nabbing honorable mention recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) in 2003. Hanlon was also named All-New York Region First Team in both 2002 and 2003. Following her junior season, Hanlon was honored as the SUNYAC West Division's First Year Player of the Year. After more than 15 seasons have passed, Hanlon still ranks first in program history for career hitting percentage (.326), single-season kills (612) and single-season hitting percentage (.371). Her 1,168 kills is second all-time for Oswego, accumulating that total in just two seasons.
