Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Edward L. Pucci was a wrestler from the early to mid-1970s that earned All-America status. As a senior in 1975, Pucci qualified for the NCAA Championship for the second time in his career and took advantage of his final opportunity. The 158-pounder was the national runner-up, nabbing All-America accolades. Along with his two NCAA appearances, Pucci took fourth in 1973 and third in 1974 at the New York State Intercollegiate Championships. In the SUNYAC, Pucci placed third twice, once as a sophomore and once as junior, before claiming runner-up in his weight class as a senior.
